Limited to 25 numbered copies signed by Bono, an Irish singer-songwriter, musician, venture capitalist, businessman, and philanthropist who is best known as the front man of the Dublin based rock band U2. This copy is marked 2/25. A broadside that features a poem by Bono about the myth of Elvis. The broadside measures 16.25 x 37 inches and is printed on glossy thick stock. Published in Heaven Poster Series #20. The background of the text is illustrated with a small photograph of Bono and the entire background of the piece reproduces Elvis' gold lame suit in white silhouette. Boldly signed bottom right by Bono (as issued). "Elvis changed everything---musically, sexually, politically, in Elvis you had the whole lot; it's all there in that elastic voice and body. As he changed shape, so did the world. He was a Fifties-style icon who was what the Sixties were capable of, and then suddenly not...In Elvis, you have the blueprint for rock & roll; the highness--the gospel highs. The mud--the Delta mud, the blues. Sexual liberation. Controversy. Changing the way people feel about the world. It's all there with Elvis."
