TRUSTEE FROM THE TOOLROOM.

London: Heinemann, (1960). First edition. Hardcover. Published posthumously in the year of the author's passing. The plot of the novel hinges on the actions of a modest technical journalist, Keith Stewart, whose life has been focused on the design and engineering of small and scale-model precision machinery. Stewart writes serial articles about how to build miniature machines in a magazine called the Miniature Mechanic, which are extremely well regarded in the modelling community — as is he. A very good plus copy in red cloth with gilt spine lettering, in what would be a near fine jacket except for some spine sunning. Item #13815
