Point Lobos, a wild and untouched stretch of the California coast, was a continuing emotional and aesthetic stimulus for Edward Weston. The thirty magnificent, beautifully reproduced photographs were selected by Weston from the hundreds he took between 1929 and 1948. They are landmarks not only in his career but in the history of 20th century American photography. Spiral bound in stiff black paper covers. Complete though a very good minus copy with chips and flaking to the bottom front corner (where the top layer of cardboard is missing and a previous owner used a black sharpie to color in, ditto rear corner. A few old dampstains here and there, but a solid copy. A very good minus copy lacking the dust jacket. Item #14726
