BLOOD WORK. A Set
New York: Little Brown, 1998. First edition. Hardcover and paperback. A crime novel made into a memorable film directed by Clint Eastwood who also stars in the film, as well as Jeff Daniels and Anjelica Huston. This set includes the Advance Reading Copy (ARC) in the publisher's stunt binding, which includes stiff printed sheets and four large bolts, and a copy of the first edition. The ARC with the bolts is very hard to store, but this copy somes with a custom-made clamshell box (13 x 10 x 5 inches) built with compartments for the bolts and cover sheets. The ARC is fine and both the book and the covering sheets are signed by Connelly. This copy also includes a nicely inscribed copy of the first edition, which fits into the case as well. This is the only set we have seen like this one. (The author himself published a limited edition of 100 signed copies in a black slipcase). The ARC is near fine, the first edition is very good in a very good jacket, the clamshell case is near fine. Item #15002
